Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology
Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology (MSCC) was founded by Dina Perry in 1986. In addition to being the founder of MSCC, she is also the founder of Wag'n Tails Mobile Grooming Conversions. In 1991 Sandy Cook became the school director. After working closely with Dina for 5 years, Sandy purchased the school in 1996. The school continues to teach the art of pet grooming based on its founders principles. MSCC also teaches the art of cat grooming in our programs. We specialize in hand scissoring. All pets are fluff-dried, we do NOT use cage dryers. Furthermore, our students all groom on hydraulic tables. MSCC offers 3 different programs to choose from, 1) Bathing & Basics, 2) Basic Grooming and 3) Pet Grooming Plus. Students enrolled in the Pet Grooming Plus are offered field trips. These include spending time at a Pet Resort (kennel) and time in a mobile grooming van. In order to accommodate our out of town students, MSCC has housing and laundry facilities onsite for your convenience.
