Distinctive Dogs Academy

Distinctive Dogs Academy is a premiere dog grooming school in Las Vegas, NV. The objective of our academy is to teach students the basics of pet grooming. This includes standard breed cuts, general pet health and professional techniques such as clipper and shear skills. At the end of the course students are certified to be pet groomers, are Red Cross certified for dogs and cats, and will have enough experience to qualify for an entry-level grooming position. We do not guarantee job placement, but will help set up appointments to prospective employers. We also provide a business plan and mobile grooming plan for students who are interested in opening their own boutiques. The course is 200 hours and generally takes 5 to 8 weeks to complete. We are open everyday except for Tuesday from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. Classes are ongoing and students can start whenever they are ready. Hours are flexible and students can come when they need to.
