Established: 1995 Email The mission of Golden Paws School of Dog Styling is to equip students with a strong foundation of styling skills creating customer satisfaction, and to enable them for a successful career in the pet styling profession. Students enter an environment of professionalism and high expectations. They learn the necessary job skills to develop a solid foundation on which to base their careers. Graduates are prepared to enter the job market as pet stylists in grooming salons, veterinary clinics, mobile grooming, pet resorts, kennels, humane societies, rescue shelters, or even open their own businesses. Our school has a proprietary license to teach the "Golden Paws Method", a step-by-step instructional program with 35 years of proven success. This fast track comprehensive program was designed for the student to learn all of the basic grooming skills with an emphasis on fine finishing skills, and to apply them to AKC breed designs or individual customer requests. The objective of the Professional Dog Styling Program is to develop and harness the full range of the students talents and contribute to their overall developement. This curriculum was designed to help students reach their full artistic potential with to develop quality skills.
